Erasmus grants: grin and bear it

There’s good news and bad news for the popular exchange program of the European Union. From 2014, more money will be available for Erasmus grants, but the outlook for next year is gloomy. Once again, European Commissioner Androuilla Vassiliou warns that the Erasmus Programme is facing a tough year. Funds for 2012 fell short, due to which ‘Erasmus’ is currently spending money meant for 2013. Should this continue, the budget for 2013 will be spent halfway through next year.
