This migration is also an opportunity to update the website. All faculties, services and smaller organizational units have put in a lot of effort to improve the information for employees (and students). Texts and images have been updated, outdated pages have been discarded. ICT Services renewed all its pages in order to better service the TU/e community with its 'ITC Service Catalogue’. The total number of Intranet pages decreased from 25,000 active pages to 6,000.

The underlying technology has also been upgraded.The new TU/e Intranet environment is suitable for the current needs of visitors and users. Thus, following the corporate website and the TU/e Educational Guide the Intranet will also be adapted for mobile and tablet in autumn. With these adaptations 'search and find' will become easier on these devices as well.

In the meantime the TU/e Intranet website has become a secure website. This means for you as a TU/e employee, student or resident of the TU/e campus, that you can directly come to the Intranet when you are on campus. If you are outside the TU/e campus and you want to make use of the Intranet, you must first establish a VPN connection with your NT user account.
