Dutch universities well-respected

Dutch universities are still valued highly worldwide. This year, the British journal Times Higher Education once more included five Dutch institutes in their reputation ranking. TU/e is not included in the top one hundred.

TU Delft and the University of Amsterdam are both in the group of universities sharing positions 51 through 60. Wageningen and Leiden are among the ten universities following those, and Utrecht University was ranked 71 through 80.

A total of 9,794 scientists from 142 countries answered the question posed by Times Higher Education. Harvard still tops the list; the top one hundred includes 43 US universities. The United Kingdom is mentioned twelve times, and Germany has six top-100 universities. They are followed by the Netherlands, Australia, and France, which each have five universities included in the ranking.
