Huub leaves many friends behind that know him as a very friendly student at the department of Industrial Design. He was known as a very approachable and positive young man who took very good care of the people around him. As a former board member of Lucid Huub is a well-known figure within the faculty as well as outside of it. As a board member he made it his mission to make Lucid and the faculty feel as if it was a big family. His extensive caretaking was the driving force behind the designing and constructing of the ID-café. Word goes that he even managed to secretly raise an abandoned bird in this place.

Let it be little consolation that Huub enjoyed a great last year as a board member of Lucid, celebrated his last weeks as the board responsible of the introduction weeks and recently very enthusiastically started his internship at Studio Tast.

Huub’s absence will leave a big gap in the community that he so happily enjoyed living and working in.

Huub's parents have specifically asked to collect all media that we have of Huub. So if you have any pictures, videos or other memories of him, please send them to huub@lucid.cc. It would be greatly appreciated. The messages and media sent to this e-mail address will be delivered to Huub's family and close friends.
