New life breathed into shared cars at TU/e

For a while now, two StudentCar vehicles have been available on the campus. There used to be only one. What's more, TU/e services and departments will be able to use a business account. TU/e hopes this will help not only students but also employees and future residents of the apartment blocks.

TU/e is keen to encourage students and employees to come to the campus by bicycle or public transport. In order to offer them the option of travelling by car from the campus to an appointment elsewhere, car rental opportunities via StudentCar were expanded at the start of the year.

StudentCar's vehicles can be used for either personal or business use. TU/e services and departments can open a business account, which limits the need to pay a registration fee to the first ten users of the service or department in question. Employees can also use rent a car partly for business, partly personal use; this will simply be reflected in the invoicing.

StudentCar's vehicles can be reserved both in advance and at the last minute; via the website and with the use of an app. No physical car key is used; the user opens the doors via the app.
