Intro 2018 | Day 1: it's a wrap #video

Knock, knock: anyone still there, at the end of day 1 (and secretly just the beginning of day 2)? The Intro Monday is over, the night is in full swing and some of you will probably see your beds in a few hours. Or not at all – no hard feelings of course.

Intro 2018 | We learned so much today #video

If Wednesday was the toughest day of the intro week, yesterday was the most instructive day. You could attend workshops the whole day and the choice was giant. From patching tires to beer brewing and from fire breathing to weightlifting. But do not worry, in two weeks the academic year will start with nice boring, average lectures. Yawn!

There is comfort in knowing: this was the toughest day of this Intro. And if you read this, you hopefully survived it. After this dead point, Tricky Thursday is waiting for you – oh well, you’re a tough cookie right!? And Friday; easy peasy lemon squeezy, just half a day more.

Intro 2018 | We’re not even halfway there yet #video

They were delivered a day late, but not a bit too early for you. The Cursor beach chairs were eagerly used this Tuesday, at the market hall of MetaForum. This to our great joy (of course!) and concern: we’re just about one and a half day down the line and there are already so many horizontally hanging Intro offspring? We hate to break it to you, folks: we’re not even halfway there yet.

Intro 2018 | One fallen beer tank, everything else okay

The first day of the Intro 2018 has come to an end with the opening party at the Flux field Monday evening (but hey, the night is still young). The organizing CIC looks back at a successful start of the week, with just one setback: a fallen and therefore unusable beer tank.

Intro 2018 | "Dad, what are we going to do now?"

Watch out for your gadgets when you are close to the GEWIS curling group ‘Steen’ (stone) with their mops and brooms. They are good at stealing stuff, they immediately announce on Monday at lunchtime, when the intro has only just begun. They’re happy to give your goodies back, but you must first play a game of broomstick mikado with them.
