This is our man who knows everything about science. The one who conjures a comprehensible article from a challenging (read: difficult!) thesis. Who is able to simplify apparently complex fundamental research with wonderful metaphors. Our font of all knowledge and our last resort when the rest of the editorial team finds a subject too difficult. The only PhD holder among us; he gained his doctorate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In his thesis he quoted the wise words of Multatuli and he heeds these words when working for Cursor: There is just one nobility, which needs neither crown nor tabard. His battleground is the Light, his shield is the Truth, his gladiator is human history, and his sword is the Word.
