TEDxAmsterdam Award for researchers Built Environment

Last Friday, the TEDxAmsterdam Award/City of the Future Prize has been awarded to TU/e researchers dr.ir. Rossella Ferraro and dr.ir.arch. Alexander Suma for their wind energy system for the built environment. Their unique system will be installed on top of Vertigo in 2013.

The prize is awarded annually and goes to the best idea towards a better world. IRWES had also won the Herman Wijffels Innovation Prize earlier this month. Among the top ten was another  TU/e entry: that of dr.ir. Massimo Mischi (Electrical Engineering) on Prostate Cancer Diagnostics.
