ID professor Feijs wins ‘Mondrian programming contest’

Prof.dr.ir. Loe Feijs has won the Elegant Algorithms contest, for which programmers were asked to recreate Mondrian’s Victory Boogie Woogie using source code. Feijs, professor of Designed Intelligence at the Department of Industrial Design, and Mondrian enthusiast, was voted the winner by a judging panel of six at the Gemeentemuseum The Hague. His submission as well as those of the two other finalists will be on display in a digital exhibition in the museum.
