Master student TU/e wins Shell Prize for best thesis

TU/e student Hans van Franeker has won five thousand euro in the final of the Shell Bachelor Master Prize at Twente University last Wednesday afternoon. After the student of Sustainable Energy Technology delivered his elevator pitch, the judges decided he was the best. Van Franeker researched organic solar cells, which may become cheaper than solar panels eventually because the former can be printed on plastic foil.
