Kick-off collaboration TU/e and Thêta

Last week was the official and festive kickoff of the collaboration between TU/e and Thêta, which was celebrated at the Thêta hangar at Kanaaldijk-Zuid. TU/e and the Eindhoven Student Rowing Association will start investing actively in talented rowers. Both parties want TU/e students to shine at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the Olympic Games after that in 2020. The Executive Board will be investing 60,000 euros in Thêta in 2013 and another 60,000 in 2014. The bulk of the contribution will be spent on a new rowing coach. Former national coach Diederik de Boorder started at Thêta in April.
