What student turns Eindhoven into zero-energy city?

What student can think of a way to make Eindhoven a zero-energy city by 2045? A group of TU/e students going by the name of Team Energy calls on Eindhoven students to take on this challenge. Participating students must submit their ideas before January 9. The winner will be announced on February 13.

Students who want to join the Energy Challenge have to put their ideas on an sheet of A4 paper and submit it before January 9. On January 16, eight finalists will be revealed. The actual Challenge will be held from February 11-13: with the help of (TU/e) teaching staff and entrepreneurs, the finalists get to further develop their ideas so it can be pitched. The winner will be selected based on their pitch.

Exact requirements are to be determined, but the student with the idea that either generates and/or saves the most energy within Eindhoven stands the best chance. The best idea will be rewarded with 2,500 euros. The competition is open to students of TU/e, Fontys, and the Design Academy, and they can compete individually or in groups consisting of a maximum of four people.
