Intro 2018 | New Kids ID too cool for school

Hard work, that summarized the Intro Monday for the 'new kids' of Industrial Design. The fifteen ID groups came up with the design case concepts for the high school of the future. "Actually, you have to do this with a beer."

At Industrial Design they do not just have Intro kids - no, they have New Kids, according to the theme of the Intro that study association Lucid chose. New Kids? Yes, New Kids – these. Around a hundred New Kids had to brainstorm about how the high school experience could be improved. They could choose from the themes 'Old school', 'New school' and 'Too cool for school' and had to finish a concept video by the end of the afternoon.

Holiday status

Developing a concept together was not always easy. "I'm still in the holiday mood", one of the intro kids sighed. "You have to change to Intro mood." "That only happens after the first beer." Yet every group was able to present a beautiful concept through a video by the end of the day. One hilarious, the other serious. There were many apps that could made it easier for the pupils - including international students.

The group that had come up with the New Kids School got a lot of laughs in the lecture hall of the Laplace building. The best relationship with my teachers, new friends and real life skillssuch as cooking, what else could a New Kid ask for? Knoepert  anyone? ;-)
