Give something back to the people in Eindhoven, that is what the group MASt (‘Maatschappelijk Actieve Student,’ or Socially Active Student) of the E.S.C aims to do. Last Friday, the students wanted to pay particular tribute to the elderly - especially after the past few difficult months marked by restrictions due to the coronavirus. “This way, we want to show that others are thinking about them,” says Cecile van Riele, Bachelor’s student Industrial Engineering.

And that was appreciated, at least by Vonderhof resident Ans. Even though she finds the quiz “rather difficult,” she admits to our video reporter Niels Dusseldorp, who went to take a look Friday afternoon. Incidentally, he did so at a safe distance from the senior quiz participants, naturally - which led to some small challenges soundwise here and there. See his report below.
