During the reorganization period a climate of fear is said to have been created, and staff confidentiality is said to have been breached by an external coach. There is also a strong suspicion that one of the staff members has been fired because they exposed the abuse. Last week, the Executive Board announced they still have faith in the head of IEC, Jeanne Figdor. The University Council OK’d the plans for the reorganization of the IEC in May of 2007. In six years’ time six university libraries were phased out. All library staff, including that of the central library, has since been relocated to the library in MetaForum. Because of that, all departmental positions disappeared.
