Students win award with ‘green’ interior wall

Last week, the Finnish Heidi Sairanen and Dutchman Bart van Santen won the Creative Holland Competition organized by Study in Holland.

The second-year TU/e students of Built Environment designed an interior wall with plants that are watered by rain hitting the exterior wall. The competition was aimed at international contestants. Participants were asked to come up with a creative idea that had something to do with their programs. The contest received 24 entries.
