Street name and number for all campus buildings

The Organisation Real Estate Management (DH) has given each building on campus street names and building numbers. From January 15 onwards, TU/e people will have an easier time explaining visitors and suppliers where to go. By early January, Den Dolech will no longer be used as an address for Hoofdgebouw, and further down campus grounds a new street name will see the light: De Groene Loper.

Starting January 15, staff and students will be able to use their own building number and street name. Flux, for example, will come to be located at De Groene loper 19, and the address for MetaForum will be Groene Loper 5. Cascade is the only building with no street name as yet.

Visiting address Den Dolech 2 has been used as the general address for the entire campus for years. The address is linked to Hoofdgebouw, but from January 2015 onwards, it won’t be used for four years. Den Dolech will remain a street name, but it won’t be used as an actual address anymore. DH will inform TomTom of the new street names and numbers, so cars can find their way to specific buildings.

PO Box number 513 won’t change. The mail room will move to the BBC building, and its new address will be Rondom 70. All signs on campus will be changed accordingly. New signs for bicycles will be put up some time this year, and other signs will follow in early 2015, including signs directing to the buildings and signs at the buildings. All will make use of the new addresses.
