Edith Snelders started as an account manager at the TU/e in 2008 and a few years later became relationship manager for the Eindhoven University Fund. That was a logical choice, because Edith always approaches her work with a focus on connection. Now she is responsible for the Alumni Relations office and the Eindhoven University Fund. She oversees the team's day-to-day operations but also effortlessly creates relationships. Her motto is: no relationship, no innovation, no relationship, no impact.

For Edith, boundaries encourage her to look beyond them. She's always been a humanities type of person, even before she knew what it meant. She speaks five languages fluently, including Spanish. She still benefits from this every day, having married a Spaniard. In her columns, she delves into the world of alumni and relationships.
