Intro 2023 | Which photo captions won Cursor’s contest?

Cursor is always on the lookout for new journalistic talent, which is why the editors organized a caption contest during the Intro: who can come up with the best photo caption? Participants could choose from six inspiring photos depicting students or animals. The penguins proved to be the most inspiring, but the terrified students on the water slide were also very popular. Keep reading to discover the hilarious captions concocted by the three winners, each of whom will receive a portable JBL bluetooth speaker.

And here they are: the winners of the caption contest launched by Cursor during the Intro. Who came up with the funniest photo captions? The winning caption for the picture of the water slide was created by Diede van Marle (Industrial Design).

Intro 2023 | Gazpacho, glider planes and haute cuisine deep frying

Thursday truly had everything in store for any Intro attendees who still had some energy left and were eager to learn. The study associations offered a wide variety of workshops on campus and the three social associations also put on their instructor hats in the city center. Cursor ventured into the wonderful world of workshops as well.

Film, theater and dance are the usual suspects when you think of the composition of a culture festival. But student rowing association Thêta and student automobile association De Beunbazen put together their own acts. The culture festival, making its debut this Intro, was opened by “Close act”.

Intro 2023 | The best outfits

Cursor went on a mission to hunt down the hottest Intro outfits. And though there were a great many, the moment we really started looking, we couldn’t seem to find any of those absolute gems we had spotted earlier. However, we still managed to snap a few good shots on Tuesday: from Barbie fans to camel herders, we’re loving it!
