CLMN | Pragmatic

13/10/2015

‘That knowledge is very superficial which remains only on your tongue. The intrinsic merit and value of knowledge is that you act upon it.’ The TU/e automotive teams, as STORM, IM01 and all the following, are indeed the legacy of pragmatism.

One reward of a pragmatic approach is Stella Lux. Brace yourself: it’s the world’s first intelligent, energy positive family solar car. Yet it has got the looks. In the last edition of the World Solar Challenge, Solar Team Eindhoven has shone in Australia. Now the expectations are sky high for upcoming World solar Challenge (18-25 Oct).

Another example of a hands-on approach is ‘Nova’. A product of TU/ecomotive. Nova, world’s first modular car. It’s completely electrical with multiple benefits. It’s environment friendly too. Remember it starred in the Shell Eco-marathon?

Moreover, there is University Racing Eindhoven (URE). The competitor in the world’s largest engineering design competition. The builder of a high-tech revolutionary electric Formula-style racecar every year. ‘URE10’ participated in the Class 2 event at the Formula Student UK in the summer of 2015. There it received not only the prize for the best design, but also for the overall concept! Now, all eyes will be on ‘URE 11’ too.

And thanks to Inmotion, there is ‘IM01’. The race car of the future. It is equipped with a series of hybrid powertrain to ensure maximum performance and high efficiency. Dedicated to break the Nürburgring record and compete in Garage 56 class of the 24 hours of Le Mans. We are all excited about unveiling of The KP&T IM/E on 17th October.

Recently, you would have noticed that that’s not all. Since we can literally take you by STORM on top of that. Thanks to ‘STORM Pulse’, the world’s first electric touring motorcycle. STORM will be around the world in 80 days in 2016-2017!
